Laura Nadler, Board President
Laura is the Chief Financial Officer of JPMorgan Private Client Services. She has worked in the financial services industry for over ten years, focusing on finance and strategy. Laura has been on the Arts of Life board since February 2004 and previously volunteered with a number of non-profit organizations, primarily working with organizations supporting adults with developmental disabilities. Laura has an aunt with Down Syndrome, and their close relationship has fueled Laura’s commitment to these organizations. Laura has a bachelor of arts degree in history from Williams College and a masters of business administration in finance from New York University.
Marie Jordan, Board Secretary
Mimi has been a lawyer for 15 years. Her areas of concentration have included municipal finance, corporate securities, corporate governance and non-profit law, and she practiced for the last nine years in the JPMorgan Chase corporate legal
department. She is currently business manager for the Midwest Chairman of JPMorgan Chase. Mimi seeks to use her legal experience to serve her community. The artists at Arts of Life have inspired her to use her legal skills to help ensure that the excellent work of the studio can continue in the face of more exacting legal standards and competition for scarce resources.
Margaret Joly, Board Treasurer
Margaret is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and a Licensed Massage Therapist. She currently has her own massage therapy practice. Prior to this position, Margaret practiced professional social work for 9 years with a primary focus of providing counseling to children and families. Margaret also worked for more than eight years with people with developmental and physical disabilities. She held both direct service and administrative positions in residential and workshop settings. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with physical, occupational and speech therapists and was responsible for training and supervising direct care staff. In addition, Margaret has written training curriculum for individuals who work with/help people with developmental disabilities. Margaret has a bachelor’s degree in psychology, a master’s degree in social work, and a massage therapy diploma.
Suzanne Heath, Board Member
Suzanne currently serves as Director of Education and Professional Development for the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) an educational and networking association for interior designers headquartered in Chicago. She has worked in the Chicago not-for-profit industry for over 10 years focusing on fundraising and association managment with several different entities in the Chicagoland area. Suzanne has a bachelor of arts degreen in American Studies from Lake Forest College. Suzanne continues to give back to her alma mater as she has voluntered over the last several years with the College’s student mentoring program.
