What We Need

As a day service provider for adults with developmental disabilities, Arts of Life, Inc. is funded in large part by the State of Illinois Department of Human Services. As the state experiences its worst fiscal crisis in its history, we are consistently forced to wait for payments, which currently run up to two months late. We are committed to finding alternate funding sources and have received numerous grants to accomplish this goal. Unfortunately our current situation often leaves us without funds for art supplies, exhibition materials and general cleaning and maintenance supplies. Donations are gratefully accepted and are tax-deductable. Monetary donations can be sent directly to our studio at 2110 W. Grand Ave. Chicago, IL. 60612. Because our studio is an old, brick building, we are currently seeking donations of electric heaters to help keep our artists warm during these cold winter months.
